Update:

Hi! This was a submission for the 2021 GMTK Game Jam, our first ever. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get our game in on time, mostly due to inexperience. Now that the jam is over, we've decided to put the game as we had it on submission day onto itch, though it still sucks. To play it, download the zip file, unzip it, and run the Unity Space Scavenger file. There are... bugs. Don't expect to have fun, it's mostly a type of closure for us.

Our first game jam ever!

Objective:

Try to survive as long as you can while recruiting stray ships to aid you on your interstellar journey. Get as many points as you can by destroying the enemies!

Controls:

WASD or arrow keys to move.

Left click to shoot.

Known Bugs:

You can't close the game.

Menus aren't present.

Collecting more ships doesn't change your defense.

Enemy ships don't respawn.

We hope you enjoy our simplistic sci-fi shooter.
